Perry Ellis Slingback Flats

Perry Ellis flats, if they're mid to late 1980s, this means that Perry Ellis designed them during the time he was making everything an ode to brilliant painter and designer Sonia Delaunay. Maybe not though, after he died in 1988 Marc Jacobs took over as chief designer. Below are some wonderful Vogue ads from '83 - '88

These shoes say "Made in Taiwan R.O.C." and in the early to mid-1980s Perry Ellis shoes were being manufactured in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea. The brand Perry Ellis America was launched in 1985 so I can assume these shoes are post '85.
